Actor Saif Ali Khan met the auto driver Bhajan Singh Rana, who saved his life after being stabbed at home in the early hours of January 16. The actor met Rana at the Lilavati hospital before he got discharged on January 21.
Saif was discharged from Lilavati Hospital on January 21, five days after treatment and two surgeries following a knife attack at his home.
The 54-year-old actor suffered multiple stab wounds, including on his neck and near the spine, in a brutal attack at his house in Bandra on 9 January. He was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery.
Saif’s sister, Saba Pataudi, took a moment to give a shoutout to Saif’s kids’ Taimur Ali Khan and Jeh Ali Khan’s nannies. “The unsung heroes…who literally pulled their weight when it mattered most! Bless you both n ALL those who contributed in keeping my brother n his family safe! You are the BEST!” Saba also wrote, “You are our Hero!”
His sister-in-law, Karisma Kapoor, took to her Instagram story to post, “Positive vibese only,” hinting at Saif’s recovery and return home.

Meanwhile, though Saif is back as his condition is stable, he needs a lot of rest as advised by the doctors. According to PTI, the actor had sustained three injuries—two on his hand and one on his neck, with the most severe injury near his spine.
Police on Sunday arrested Bangladeshi national Shariful Islam Shehzad Mohammad Rohilla Amin Fakir (30) from neighbouring Thane city for the stabbing incident.

Some reports said that Fortune Heights offers enhanced security features compared to their current residence at Satguru Sharan, which is just 500 meters away.
