Also known as the 'Grand Slam of Asia-Pacific', the 'AO' is being played at the iconic Melbourne Park from January 12 to 26, 2025.

This is the 113th edition of the Australian Open (57th in the Open Era). Jannik Sinner of Italy and Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka are the defending champions in men's and singles events, respectively. Meanwhile, Serbian tennis great Novak Djokovic is chasing a record-extending 11th title.

In the doubles, the Indo-Aussie pair of Rohan Bopanna and Matthew Ebden are the men's title holders. Hsieh Su-wei of Chinese Taipei and Elise Mertens of Belgium will defend the women's doubles title. Hsieh Su-wei also won the mixed doubles title last year, with Jan Zielinski of Poland.

Russian and Belarusian stars will play as neutrals without their national flags and other representative emblems as per the decisions taken by the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA), Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), and other international tennis federations following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
