A full delivery on the off stump, Verreynne stands tall and expertly drives the ball over mid-off for a boundary. Wiese has an expensive over, with Verreynne's shot adding to the damage.

The Pretoria Capitals have lost three wickets in just six overs, putting them in a tough spot early on. Moeen Ali delivered the final blow, bowling a well-executed length ball that straightened from off stump and kept a bit low. Rossouw, caught off guard, missed the ball completely as it crashed onto the off stump. The skipper departs for a cheap score, leaving the Capitals further in trouble.

After a brief spell of hope, Verreynne is dismissed as he picks out deep midwicket. Jones, who’s been involved in the action in the deep, slides to position himself under the ball for the catch. The hosts' bowlers delivered a dominant performance, restricting the Capitals to just 138. Gurbaz fell on the first ball, and Jacks was dismissed in the powerplay. Verreynne looked promising before spin turned the tide, with Moeen Ali taking two wickets and Tahir chipping in.
